
Caroline Co, VA (May 12, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred early Monday morning at approximately 12:08 a.m. on the northbound lanes of I-95, 2.4 miles south of the Rt 639 Exit 110. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to manage traffic and assist the victims.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash involved a rear-end collision between two cars, resulting in significant damage. One of the drivers was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with reported injuries, though the severity of those injuries has not been disclosed. The second vehicle’s driver was also injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Firefighters from the Caroline County Fire Department helped with vehicle extraction to ensure the safe removal of the individuals involved.
Traffic on I-95 was temporarily disrupted as authorities worked to clear the wreckage and restore normal flow. No fatalities were reported, but both vehicles sustained extensive damage. Virginia State Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
